Windup Watch Fair San Francisco

Windup brings its travelling watch fair to the Bay Area for three days of independent watchmaking, community, and zero pretension.

What to Expect

Windup Watch Fair has become one of North America's most important events for watch enthusiasts, and the San Francisco edition benefits from one of the circuit's best venues. The Gateway Pavilion at Fort Mason sits right on the water, with views across the bay toward the Golden Gate Bridge.

The format is straightforward: browse watches from dozens of independent and micro-brands, talk directly with the people behind them, and buy if something catches your eye. Windup events draw a mix of seasoned collectors and newcomers, with an atmosphere that's more neighborhood market than luxury expo. Panels and activations round out the three days, but the core draw is unhurried access to interesting watches and the people who make them.

Planning Your Visit

Fort Mason is accessible by bus from downtown San Francisco and has paid parking on site. The surrounding Marina district offers plenty of dining options. Admission is free.
